1. Using the site

By using Own The World you agree to these terms. You may look around, play the boat game and click logos freely. Don't try to break, overload or misuse the site, or get around its limits.

2. What you buy

A payment buys a place for your logo on a country, boat or plane, shown as described in the rules. It is advertising space, not ownership of any land, country or territory. Your position can change when others pay more, as the rules explain.

3. Your content

• You must have the right to use the name, logo and link you send, and they must be accurate.
• You give us permission to show your name, logo, description and link on the site, and in images of the site that promote it, for as long as your logo is listed.
• Your content must follow the rules. We review every logo and may reject it or take it down if it breaks them.

4. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Prices are in US dollars. You get a full refund of everything you paid for a logo if:

• it is pushed past #30 in its country;
• we reject it in review, or take it down later under the rules;
• someone else's payment beats yours while you are paying, or takes the boat or plane first.

Other payments are final once your logo is live, because the place has been delivered. If something went wrong with a payment, contact us and we'll put it right.

5. How long a listing lasts

There is no time limit or renewal fee: a logo stays until it is pushed past #30 or taken down under these terms. If we ever close the site, we'll give notice on the site first.

6. Links to other sites

Logos link to their owners' websites. We check links when we review logos, but we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.

7. No guarantees

We work to keep the site running, but it is provided as it is. We can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that a listing will bring a particular number of visits. As far as the law allows, our responsibility for any claim about a listing is limited to what you paid for it.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Changes don't affect payments made before them.
